It’s hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that this amazing little girl is two and half already!
In my head, I think a part of her will always be the happy baby on the teal truck with the red shoes
that has become our “flagship” image here at EBP.

That being said – she is a vibrant, funny, sassy, happy girl who Mike and I are proud to call our God Daughter.

Soon she is going to be a big sister and I know she is going to be the perfect role model!

Hugs for her brother or sister (it’s a surprise, much to my chagrin!)

What two and half year old wouldn’t love a zebra, pink and black petticoat for dress up?

Her Easter dress from this year that she loves!

A new favorite of mine that will be certainly hanging on our wall soon =)

This dress was actually made years ago for the flower girl for her Mom & Dad’s wedding and now fits her!
She was trying out the perfect pose for me here!
We laughed so hard because she looks like she could be making her First Holy Communion!!!

This is SO SO Harper to me….

I am so happy to welcome Lydia and her family to our family here at EBP!

I photographed Lydia for her first session in our {growing up!} plan on Wednesday
and she couldn’t have been a sweeter girl!

I am so looking forward to watching her grow up over her first year =)

She was the perfect model for me to try out my new handpainted backdrop from Intuition Backgrounds by Becky!

and those sparkling blue eyes… they are just swoon worthy!

I won’t see her again until after the holidays so we went ahead and snagged a few wintery shots =)

How another year has gone by for one of my sweet babies is just mind blowing to me!
I have spent so much time in the past year with this family who has become so special to me and I’ve loved each moment of it!
From their maternity session on what seemed like the hottest day of the year last summer, to her newborn session and multiple growing up sessions…
There is almost nothing that makes my heart swell more than a family who cherishes photography, who knows the real “value” in it.
This family epitomizes those things!

Aly was a little timid at first and was happy to hang on to her Momma….

I love getting to spend time with my dearest friends while at the same time capturing a few memories of their beautiful families!
I was lucky enough to be in the delivery room when Camden was born and I remain totally enamored with him=)

From the time he was still in utero,
Anna and I were busily planning away for the sessions we would have for him… maternity, newborn, growing up…
I loved his {arrived!} session and now love this {growing up!} session just as much=)

Anna’s mother had saved these shoes that Anna’s brother wore as a baby… I fell in love with them instantly.

Cam’s Daddy is an avid golfer and we found some adorable items for his session!
you know, to keep the golf theme fresh and current =)

This banner was made by 62Cards and it worked out perfectly for his “FORE!” theme =)

Not overly thrilled about his drive landing in the sand trap but
of course he looks absolutely charming in his custom onesie!

Now that’s better – a straight shot to the pin from the fairway makes him a happy camper!
And seriously – could the argyle baby legs and plaid hat being any cuter and any more perfect for his day on the links?

I love warm evening light and this session was filled with that and such a fun family!
Braxton is the happiest kiddo and totally on the move!
With kiddo’s like that, it’s all about the quick moments – a snuggle, a smile or a laugh.
I love finding these mere second and capturing them for a lifetime!

He also happens to have the sweetest parents who were naturals in front of the camera!

I have been fortunate to spend much of my time this summer with so many amazing families
and this family is right up there at the top of my list!
Spending time with them is hardly work and brings me so much joy!
I mean really? How could this face not make you happy?

and the “faux-hawk”… I could die of sweetness =)

This picture was not set up, in fact while shooting the family, both the dogs came over with their toys and positioned themselves this way.
Looking back, I could not be happier that this happened as since our session sweet Jersey (on the right) has crossed over Rainbow’s Bridge.

Sometimes, even with my Baby Planners it seems as though too much time goes by before I get to see them again in between sessions
and this is certainly the case with the N Family =)
Earlier this year I photographed Palmer’s {arrived!} session and was thrilled to be back for this 4 month {growing up!} session!

I adore the time I spend with this family and am so blessed to have them as ~~clients~~ friends!

Palmer is just as absolutely sweet as can be and even though the session was mostly about him,
I love capturing at least a few with the whole family!!
Watching him as he begins to change over his first year has been a blessing for me

Cannot wait to see you again in November =)

The always beautiful Duke Gardens provided the most lush setting for my session this morning with Alessandra!
You may remember her from her first {growing up!} session and today she was back for her 8 month session
and brought along her whole family to join in on the fun!

This set up was her sister’s idea and I think it’s beautiful!!

I was so happy this am to finally get together with Jesse and Anju for William’s 1st session in his {Growing Up!} Plan!
This August weather has been a bear to schedule around – it’s been either too too hot or raining a lot this month!

Today was our third chance and it was a CHARM!
At just over 4mo’s William is already sitting which is just amazing to me!

LOVE LOVE LOVE how much babies love their toes =)

And of course, I am a total mush when it comes to Mama’s and the love they have for their babies…

I have loved every moment spent documenting Kalea’s first year.
It is so bittersweet to see this time come to end.

It is always so exciting to see the world in front of these kiddos who spend so much time in front of my lens.
I am amazed at the wonder they experience as they start to explore their independence.
Blessed to be able to capture some of it.

The secondary in all of these are the amazing people who initially are a “new client inquiry” in my inbox,
but through the grace of God, are now friends.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Kalea’s Momma.
She always makes me smile.
Texts me words of encouragement just when I need to hear them and is always a champion of my work.
(plus she always plans a killer wardrobe for their sessions which I LOVE!)

I am SWOONING of this shot… just love that little expression =)

Who doesn’t love a little swing from her parents?
