It’s been almost a year since I first started chatting with Blaire via email for this session,
and ultimately we could not have chosen a better evening for the session with her and her fiance Travis.

Storming all day, even tornado warnings gave way to a warm, bright, golden evening.

I absolutely adore a couple who are just comfortable and really truly happy around each other.
Their big day in October will be here soon and then hopefully we will be seeing them again when
they take their family to the next step by adding a baby!
(no pressure or anything!)

I could serioulsy shoot in light like this all day and never tire of it!

I told Travis he’d want this shot on his desk as soon as I snapped it =)

I have so been looking forward to today.
I love getting to shoot things that are outside of my normal “box”
and today I got to do just that.

On top of that, I spent the afternoon with an awesome girl and two really amazing support friends.

Thank you Elizabeth, Amy and Kleida for making today so much fun!

Friday I met up with Stacy & Jeff at the Rose Garden for an {in love!} session!

I had so much fun with this couple – they share such a comfort around one another which was a joy to be around,
and hey, when laughter is plentiful like it was – It’s a guaranteed good time for me!

She Said Yes! (Joe & Michelle)

What a gorgeous morning it was at the Duke Gardens today!!! I had a ton of fun hanging out with Michelle and Joe who are getting married next Summer out of state =) Michelle and Joe both work in the medical field too (you know that other thing I do right…) so between the three of us and our 12 hour shifts, I was so glad to finally meet them after chatting so much via email!

I can’t wait to see their wedding photos after the big day… What a fun and loving couple they are – so sweet and considerate of each other!

I wish you both all the best as you cross a million things of your “to-do” list over the next year – remember, it goes by fast =)

I couldn’t be happier for Liz & Brian – a great couple planning their wedding for this November! They have been together since they were teenagers and the comfort they feel with one another is so inspiring!

We had a blast at Duke Gardens and in the Warehouse Disctrict in Durham – the laughter was plentiful and of course there was a few jumping photos taken too!

Although Brian gave Liz an amazing three stone diamond and emerald ring for their engagement, I just had to feature these rings on the blog – Liz got these for her and Brian about 7 years ago and had them engraved – they say “Liz & Brian Forever” on them. I guess even as a teenager, she had a feeling he was “the one”!

and this one “out-take” just makes me smile =)
