Sessions with the G Family are always fun, no stress and I often leave with what end up being some of my top favorite images -
This session was no different!

Parker is a quick mover these days, but I think he is already proving he is going to be a great big brother!

Brittany & Pat are naturals in front of the camera – making my “work”, no work at all =)

Dumpsters make the most colorful and beautiful backdrops =)

Brittany looks amazing!

I mean seriously?  How adorable is he?

You may remember her from her first {growing up!} session and today she was back for her 8 month session
and brought along her whole family to join in on the fun!

This August weather has been a bear to schedule around – it’s been either too too hot or raining a lot this month!

Today was our third chance and it was a CHARM!
At just over 4mo’s William is already sitting which is just amazing to me!

LOVE LOVE LOVE how much babies love their toes =)

And of course, I am a total mush when it comes to Mama’s and the love they have for their babies…

She has great genes. 
Her Momma is one of my sweetest friends and is one of the most beautiful women I know – both inside + out.
Beth has a heart that is so big and a smile to match it.
The love that pours out of her is just all encompassing and I am so blessed to be a recipient of it!

Beth and her beautiful family are no stranger to my camera.
We’ve done a maternity Session, a newborn Session + growing up sessions with Warren.
Personal images from an amazing vacation with her and two other girlfriends grace my hard drive waiting to be worked on
 and  this is currently my desktop image too!
 In fact, they are even front + center on my website’s splash page.

  
So after all of that…. I knew I shouldn’t be surprised to fall in love with Libby within mere moments of meeting her.
She was so sweet for me for her session. 
She slept and slept and slept and slept some more. 

She is delicate and perfect and as beautiful as her Mom already!
I can’t wait to watch her grow up to be just a lovely a person!

We have had no shortage of hot and humid sessions lately but my evening with Chad & Aubrey
may be right up at the top of the list of crazy hot…

However, with the triple H’s (hazy, hot & humid) came along a couple who made me laugh + smile nearly non-stop for the entire session. 
A couple who are so clearly in love not only with one another, but also their sweet Tessa who is due to {arrive!} at the end of the month…

{sigh….} Tessa – what a perfect name for a beautiful baby girl on the way…

Life is just whizzing by and of all that things that seems to fall by the wayside,

A few weeks ago, I spent a lovely morning at the Raleigh Little Theatre with Lindsay & Troy.
It wouldn’t be long before their sweet boy would {arrive!} and I was thrilled to capture the anticipation for them!

Well this afternoon, I was blessed to once again spend some time with them,
but the difference today…?
Cael is on the outside now!

At 8 days and about 10lbs, he is a BIG BOY already!
He wasn’t thrilled about the whole sleepy time thing at first,
but once he was all wrapped up he would quickly drift off to dream land!

 ”Cael” is an Irish name, so I thought I’d pull out this sweet hat =)

 Thank you Lindsay & Troy for allowing me to capture these moments for you!
It has been an absolute joy getting to know you!

I think our last session was rescheduled 3 or 4 times because of rain!!!
However, it doesn’t take long for it to brighten up with these three beautiful girls!

What a way to celebrate the Morgan & Mia’s first birthday (it was actually, really their bday the day of our session!!!)

and of course, we celebrate Olivia too!

I just ADORE this family!
Not only are they a joy in front of lens,
but Michael (aka, the Dad) is my good friend from the ER.
He keeps me laughing and cool headed on many a day there is nothing really to laugh at.

I cannot wait to see this shot in CANVAS!!!
It’s on the way =)

Totally out of the norm, but on my way the skies were getting more grey and more grey until they eventually opened up and the rain began.

By the time we all arrived, the rain had stopped and we decided to give the session a try even though there was a lot of wetness all around.
It became pretty apparent that we weren’t going to have too long a reprieve, but I’d say we made the most of our time together =)

Would you be surprised if I told you it was actually pouring rain during these last two shots?
Fortunately this lush area provided us some shelter to grab a few more images and to gather up
our belongings before we made a mad dash to the cars!

(the rain brought with it, the most AMAZING light!!! AHHHH – I LOVE it!!!!)
